Where do you donate the preemie hats to? I'd like to do that!
http://carewear.org/ has a complete listing of hospitals and what items they are in need of (preemie hats and other stuff too) so you can find a hospital near you to send them to!
That is a great idea about the hats. You have some great goals also!
