More goals for 2009.

While I was washing the dishes, I was going over in my head some of things that I would like to finish this year. I've already made hats for Niko, Brina and Ceci, and an earwarmer for Brina, so now I would like to make something for Abigail. I am thinking maybe a poncho. I'll have to make a trip to Walmart later and see if any of the yarns catch my eye!
Also on my want-to-make list for this year is a pair of crocheted socks. I have seen some really, really pretty colorways in sock yarn at Michael's, and I think it would be something fun and useful to learn to make.
I just signed up for an Athena Scarf crochet-a-long at Craftster, too. I recently did a swatch of the Broomstick lace and really enjoyed the pattern. I don't wear scarves, but I am sure I will find the perfect person to give it too!
I would also like to make at least one preemie hat a month to donate to the local hospital. If I am crunched for time, I know that I can make one very fast on my smallest loom, but if not, there are so many adorable patterns out there! Making tiny little baby things is always fun!
I think I will stop there for now... that's quite a few projects to plan out with it only being the 8th of January!

Oh, I almost forgot to post the picture of Ceci with her hat on Christmas morning here! I posted it on Facebook already, but I guess it should be on my crafty blog too!
